Acknowledgement of Country

RCOG acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land our Garden occupies, the Bidjigal and Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and their connections to this land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Traditional Custodians throughout Australia.

All are welcome!

Where We Are

Paine Reserve is a public park bounded by Rainbow St & Botany St, Randwick. Our community garden is at the northern end of Paine Reserve, separated from the Reserve by a row of trees. We are also accessible via Fennelly St.

Who We Are

Randwick Community Organic Garden (RCOG) is created for and managed by the local community. It is a not-for-profit incorporated association where membership is open to all.

Our garden is a fenced 1080 sq metre area within Paine Reserve which is leased from Randwick City Council and NSW Crownlands.

RCOG combines substantial community garden areas with individual plots for members.  We currently have 70 members and 33 individual plots. We are a flourishing eco-system of humans, animals and plants – with food production, knowledge sharing, creative and festive community events, provision of native habitat and a place of beauty.

Come visit – come join

We aim to be a demonstration garden and participate fully in sustainable and organic practice, the circular economy, and community caring for country. As a member of Community Gardens Australia we always welcome other gardening groups and interested parties from the wider community to visit us.

Come Join. Better still, why not join us and become a RCOG member.
