Celebrate biodiversity in the eastern suburbs

Sunday 3 July 2011, 2.30pm to 4.30pm, Randwick Community Centre, 27 Munda Street Randwick (turn off Bundock Street into Hendy Avenue then right into Marida Street)

2:30: Join the PermaBee volunteers, harvest Jerusalem Archichokes, mulch and tend the orchard in the Permaculture Interpretive Garden.

Watch the WIRES video about how they care for injured native animals and find out how you can join in caring for these animals.

 3:30: Join Randwick Council's Bushland team on a tour of the Randwick Environmental Park to see one of the last patches of Eastern Suburbs Banksia Shrub and learn about the history, geology, hydrology and the endangered species of this rare ecosystem.
